There are many institutions in the USA from which we can consider previous study. As the list is so long and changes frequently it is not possible for us to publish it here. Before making an application, please check whether your previous institution is eligible for credit transfer by emailing us at credit-transfer@open.ac.uk . Both the qualification and institution have to be on our approved list to be considered for credit transfer.

Qualification
Associate of Arts / Science degree (year 2 only - courses from level 200 upwards) - awarded 2008 onwards
Bachelor degree (when awarded by a regionally accredited institution)
Master's degree (research or taught)
First Professional degree

In order to be considered for credit transfer both your previous institution and the qualification that you studied towards need to appear in the lists above. Unfortunately if either does not appear then we will not be able to consider your previous study for an award of credit transfer.
