One year Certificate in Education (excluding City and Guilds qualifications)

If you completed a one-year, full-time (or the part-time equivalent) Certificate in Education (including adult and further education but excluding City and Guilds qualifications) then you may be eligible for credit transfer.

If your Certificate in Education was credit rated by the institution that you studied with we will use their credit rating to determine the maximum credit your qualification can be considered for. Details of the credits can usually be found on your academic transcript or academic record.

We can normally consider a completed one-year Certificate in Education that does not carry a credit rating for an award of up to 120 credits at Level 1.

Evidence you will need to provide

With your application you will need to provide evidence of having completed the qualification in the form of an academic transcript or academic record which shows the individual units or modules that you completed and the marks you were awarded.
